I was born and raised in the same suburb as Rusty (Mt Roskill), and I teach at his old grammar school. I remember when he was known as 'Russ le Roq' and was in a local production of "The Rocky Horror Show". But that is about the extent of our commonality. However I still remember the thrill when, as "The Gladiator", he urged his troops to "give them hill!" as his good old Kiwi vowels leaked through the Brit accent he used in that film.

Yeah - he comes across as a bad boy doesn't he? He does seem totally careless of what people think of him - and that is always kinda cool. As long as it doesn't result in anti-social stuff - and Russ just stays within the boundaries - just! But he's a cocky wee lad!

Tee hee - he does look a bit smoother than usual doesn't he? The thing with him is that he's got these chubby little legs which sort of stop him from being truly macho.

Yeah - he bought the Rabbitohs (South Sydney)- a team that has languished at the bottom of the table for years. He has always been a Rabbitohs supporter though from before he was a 'name, and hopes to revive the team's fortunes and inject a bit of oomph!

i thought it was the bunnys that he had brought. hopefully he will get them on the right track next season. theyve got sean mcrae as thier coach havent they, he was really good when he was coaching here in england.
found it interesting a few years ago that they had to go to court to remain in the NRL despite the fact that they quite clearly wernt good enough.
he is a twat, was really rude to my nice Ex at a party once, also only drinks Fosters when everyone is on champagne, get over yourself hunney!
